Tree Temple Preston Park Brighton
How does this art make you feel?
UNITED ARTSPACE
I’m working on the UNITED ARTSPACE 7 keys course, this course is helping me to get my Psychedelic Voyager Art Collection ready to exhibit. I have 7 chosen pieces of symmetry work out of over 100 pieces. Now I need to answer some questions about each image. 1 question I need help with is the; “How does this art make you feel” question. This is where my Facebook, Instagram & my website followers come in.
Rings of Power Elvish Stained Glass window crest.
The first chosen piece is Tree Temple; the original photo image for Tree Temple was taken at Preston Park. I then created the abstract symmetry art in photoshop that you see now.
I loved the complexity of the branches, the many shades of green, the way the light caught the colours in the tree and surrounding foliage. This highlighting some of the leaves that looked a blue green colour. These blue/ green leaves would create a stained-glass window effect in the centre, creating a crest. A spiritual sign, much like an Elvish window or shield symbol in Rings of Power or Lord of the Rings. Most of all I was inspired by the tree’s natural stance, leaning towards the available light, the same principles of photography, using light for exposure. It fascinates me when tree’s reach like this, throwing its branches out to the side, like dreadlocks in the wind, finding the sunshine.
Please do leave comments below or on my Facebook or Instagram.
So how does this image make you feel? I would really appreciate anything that comes to mind. I’ve put some zoomed in sections of this image to look at, because to really appreciate the grandness of Tree Temple, you need to see it at its full size.
