The Psychedelic art in our day to day lives
Psychedelic Voyager Art collection is my way of showing my fascination for nature, the passion to have my camera close at hand to capture its essence. What we can miss passing by someone’s garden! walking down the street or being in the woods.
Being present to be a Voyager
More importantly what we can see by being present enough to pause, where ever there is wildlife, there is art in its purest form. I love the complexity of the wild outdoors, nature has its own mathematic equation, its own geometric shapes and patterns. We just need to stop and take a moment to see for our selves.
My art is about taking this geometric landscape to another level, opening up totem worlds, finding mystique & adventure, too voyage in amongst the plants, finding strange creatures, their faces appearing when the plants are mirrored. Unveiling the hidden Psychedelic Voyager Art Collection
Its been a bit of journey over the last 20+ years with my cameras, all the wonderful projects and adventures that aligned. I’ve worked a lot of live music events and festivals, weddings, film shoots, an unknowable number of other projects so that I can play with my camera’s. In amongst all of this I have been quietly working on my own photographic art work and seeking out plant magic. I often wonder at the beauty of the country side or what our own streets can presents us. I have not been doing the art for anyone or to a work spec, but doing it because its what I want & love to do.
I’ve been building my art collection over the last 20 years, and its never really seen the light of day, mainly because I’m a little shy about being so exposed if that makes sense? Like I said, I’ve only ever done the art for me. But now its time to share.
