Furry Friends: Pet & Animal Portraits

Could your pets be a star? Of course they could!

I’ll work with you and your pet to create images that will become memories that you’ll love forever.

I work mainly with dogs, and love them all: big and small, shy and friendly.
Whatever your pet – from cat to hamster, I’ll photograph them.

I take pet portraits in Brighton, Sussex and beyond.

How it works

I want to come and hang out with you and your pack. We’ll take things slowly: I want to get to know you and your pet. That way I can take the kind of natural photographs that you’ll love to treasure.

Just let me know where and when you’d like to see your pet captured on film. Walkies is a great time to get actions shots of your dog playing. Cosy home time is perfect for capturing those looks of sleepy satisfaction.

I can capture your pet doing its own thing, and during all the lovely interactions it has with you.

What’s Included?

This is a bespoke service: tell me what you’d like to see and I’ll do my best to do it. Animal and pet photography sessions cost £250 and include:

    • A pre-shoot visit. I’ll meet your pet and see how it reacts to me, and my equipment.
    • Three hours of photography. Extra time is £50 for each half hour.
    • All your images processed, and ready for either printing or publishing online, on a memory stick.
    • A password protected, private online gallery, which family and friends can use to look and buy.

  • It’s best not to have many other people around while I’m working with your pet, to avoid distraction. If you’d like a big family portrait (and I’d recommend it!) then it’s best to do this at the start or end of the session.
  • If you have a dog, I’ll need to know what breed your dog is and how good it is with strangers. I have loved and worked with dogs for many years, but some are trickier than others. If your dog responds to treats that can help me draw them out. If you’d like shots at walk time, it’s good to know if you’d like them on or off the lead.
  • Think what time of day is best for your pet: some are more sleepy or more active at certain times.

Book today, and I’ll make sure you have pet portraits you’ll want to keep forever.

And as always, if you love my work but are short on cash, Get in touch! I’ll always try my best to offer you something.
